To give students and environment for gaining personal and professional growth. North Alabama Wellness School of Massage will strive to equip the student with the knowledge and tools to be a success in the field of therapeutic massage.
LICENSURE INFORMATION
The Alabama Massage Therapy Licensure Act enacted by the Legislature of Alabama states that massage therapy is declared by the Legislature to be a professional therapeutic health service. The Legislature finds that in the practice of massage therapy, there is a necessity to preserve and protect individual life and health, to promote the public interest and welfare by establishing licensure requirements and assuring public safety. This instruction must be provided by an institution authorized by the Alabama Board of Massage Therapy and the Alabama State Department of Education. This authorization must be renewed each year and is based on an evaluation of minimum standards concerning quality education, ethical business practices, health and safety, and fiscal responsibility. North Alabama Wellness School of Massage has been given approval by the Alabama State Department of Education and authorization from the Alabama Board of Massage Therapy.
